At the Generations of Aviation hangar you can meet three distinct figures which represent an era and emotion of a period in aviation history. We welcomed these mannequin men into our hangar as representatives for showing the style, feel and attire for each airplane and era that they represent. While we do not have proper names for our mannequin friends, they too are a part theĀ Generations in Aviation Family.
The sound of freedom truly begins when boarding a DeHavilland Beaver and setting off for unchartered wilderness. Our Beaver mannequin represents a true outdoorsman who is pilot as well as an avid fisherman. He has landed his plane in the wilderness of Alaska and plans to find some great streams to wade and fish in complete and utter solitude. For his adventure, this pilot, with five days growth of beard, chose to wear 1950s era Orvis hat and vest. He protects his eyes with his 1950's Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses and catches his fish with a wood and string net as well as a vintage bamboo fly rod. His Hodgemand Birgtman waders protect him from the wet and cold of the outdoors and his vintage straw creel will collect his days catch.
